Came from a successful coaching career in Missouri to Crawfordsville in 1937 … went to the semistate twice and Final Four once in 4 years there … then coached 4 years at Anderson, winning state title in 1946 … made state finals in 1944, also winning North Central Conference title that year … served as varsity basketball coach at Boston College before returning to private business in Anderson … after being out of education for 12 years, returned to Anderson High School to serve as athletic director since 1960.
