4-yr letterman for coach Robert King at Hammond…won 4 straight sectionals, and regional as a senior…1739 career points, a 20 ppg average…an Indiana All-Star, scored 34 points in 2 games against Kentucky Stars…3 yrs of varsity ball at Indiana University including 1958 Big Ten title…captain of 1960 squad which went 20-4 and ranked #10 in the nation…two times winner of that school’s Balfour award…played for one year in NBA with Philadelphia. Coached Georgia Southern to a 48-24 record in three seasons before moving into administration at that school.
