Over 500 victories in high school coaching, many during 13-yr tenure at Indpls Shortridge…3 of his best teams suffered narrow losses in sectional to legendary Crispus Attucks teams, all of which went on to win state championships…Blue Devils were regularly state ranked, including 3 number-ones…coached Indiana all-star team against Kentucky 3 years…moved on to 16 years at Marian College as basketball coach and athletic director…named to Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary team in 1975 and named Marion County Coach of the Year in 1977.
