Coached at Bloomington and Logansport High Schools before an 18-yr stint as head basketball coach at Tulane University…Coached Bloomington High School to state basketball championship in 1919, despite only having graduated from that school 3 years earlier…played basketball and baseball at Bloomington, becoming coach in 1917…coached at Logansport from 1922 to 1945, winning state championship in 1934…in 1928 won the Tri-State basketball championship…won 71 percent of his games as high school coach…teams won more than 50 state, sectional, regional and invitational titles. He coached at Tulane University. He was executive secretary and director of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.
