Three-year starting guard broke 15 records at Pike… coached by Hall of Fame inductee Ed Siegel, averaged 25.1 points per game his senior year and scored 1,368 career points for Pike (19.8 ppg), shooting over 49% from the field and dishing out 275 career assists… awarded team MVP, named Ben Davis all-sectional team, all-CSAC and Conference Player of the Year, AP & UPI all-state, Street & Smith Magazine All-American and a 1980 Indiana All-Star… played four years at Southern Methodist University and was named Freshman of the Year… was named team captain his senior year, awarded “Mr. Hustle” and part of the 1983-84 NCAA National Tournament squad… member of 2005 Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Silver Anniversary Team.
