Don Odle

Played guard on Selma High School basketball team 1935-38. During high school varsity days, was leading scorer in Delaware County. Also led Taylor University basketball team in scoring during all four years of his intercollegiate play. Awarded Gates-Howard Trophy as outstanding Taylor athlete. Author of three books on basketball. For ten years, has taken college stars on tours of the Orient and South America. Coached Chinese Nationalist team in 1960 Olympics. Past President of Hoosier Conference. Two years Chairman of Basketball Committee of National Association of Inter-Collegiate Athá letics. Member People-to-People Sports Com_mittee. Now in 16th year as Athletic Director and Basketball Coach at Taylor University.
