Awarded 35 Coach of the Year Honors…coached the Reebok North/South Classic, East/West Indiana All-Star Classic…Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association… McDonald’s All-Stars and the Indiana Girl’s All-Star Team…coached two state championship teams, Scottsburg in 1989 and Southwestern at Hanover in 2002… 1986 Scottsburg team was the Indiana State Runner-Up… 1987 team won the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Classic Championship…during the summer of 1987, asked by the USIA to coach teams in Yauonde and Cameroon, Africa…44 players have earned college scholarships, while one player was named Miss Basketball…two players have received the Mental Attitude Award at the state finals and eight players have been named to the Indiana All-Star Team.
