Legendary coach at Valparaiso High School earning 324 career wins (.848) over 16 seasons… led his teams to 12 sectional championships, eight regional titles, four semi-state wins and two state runner-up finishes… received IBCA District Coach of the Year four times, ICGSA District Coach of the Year four times and ICGSA Coach of the Year in 1996…assistant coach of the 1993 Girls Indiana All-Stars and head coach of 1999 Indiana All-Star team…prior to stint at Valpo, was head boys coach at Portage High School from 1978-1987 where he was 115-86… completed coaching career as associate head women’s basketball coach at Valparaiso University.
