Only athlete to receive 16 varsity letters from Needmore H.S….a three-year starting point guard, averaged 15 ppg his junior season on Needmore’s only sectional championship team..43-6 his junior & senior seasons…graduate asst at Indiana State University…over 40 years as head coach at Tunnelton, Mitchell & Bloomington H.S. South…inducted with over 667 career wins, 8th all-time in state history…2009 4A state champion team (26-0) was 12th undefeated state champion team in state history…won 2011 4A state championship…named 2009 USA Today National Coach of the Year, coached 2001 Indiana All-Stars, coached 7 Indiana All-Stars (including son Jonathon) & coached in four Hall of Fame Classics…2010 team was unbeaten in regular season.
