Jack Colescott

Lettered three years at Gas City H.S. graduating in 1948…won four letters playing for Hall of Famer Angus Nicoson at Indiana Central (now the University of Indianapolis)…coached at Swayzee and Marion…won 216 and lost 122 including six sectionals, four regionals and two semistate titles…lost to Shortridge by two points in the 1968 State Finals and by one point to Indianapolis Washington the following year…father of Trester Award Winner and Mr. Basketball in 1976 Dave Colescott.
