Jack Waters

All-state player for HOF coach Bud Ritter at Madison High School… averaged double-double senior year with 17.9 points and 15 rebounds per game… received honors such as all-state, first team all-conference, first team all-sectional and regional, team captain and was selected to the Jefferson County All-Star Team and named MVP… continued basketball career at University of Mississippi and graduated as the 2^nd leading scorer in Ole Miss history (1,384 points), three-time 1^st team all-SEC, named All-American and later an “SEC Legend” and inducted into Ole Miss Athletics HOF in 1990… drafted by Cincinnati Royals and went on to a successful 45-year coaching career in Georgia and Mississippi high schools and colleges.
