Graduate of Lafayette Jefferson High School and Purdue University in 1976…longtime sportswriter with the Lafayette Journal & Courier…began covering high school basketball in the early 1970s and has won numerous awards including being named the 1991 Indiana Sportswriter of the Year…covered every Indiana high school boys basketball state finals from 1976 through 1994…authored the book “Tales of Indiana High School Basketball” in 2004 and a second book titled “Gene Keady: The Truth and Nothing But the Truth”…beat writer for Purdue men’s basketball.
