Kimberly (Barrier) McGuire

Scored 1,827 career points at Jimtown, graduating as state’s 3^rd all-time leading girls scorer and setting Elkhart County record… Named 1986 Indiana Miss Basketball and Converse All-American after averaging 30 points per game, setting 48 school records and becoming first girls player in Indiana history to turn in two 50+ point game performances… was four-year team MVP and all-conference and led team in scoring, rebounding, assists and steals… continued basketball career at Western Michigan University, where she was a two-time team MVP and twice all-Mid American Conference… a basketball, volleyball and softball coach at Jimtown, Concord and Elkhart Memorial high schools and Kalamazoo College… named to Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame 2011 Silver Anniversary Team.
