Robert Cowan

Robert was the only graduate of North Side to earn 11 letters in sports, four in basketball, four in track, three in football at North Side High School. He was a member of the All-City teams in his junior and senior years and was on the All-State team in his senior year. As a senior he scored 193 points in three games. He earned his letter in basketball as a sophomore at Indiana University and then entered the service. He played three years of professional football with Cleveland.
