Played professional football at Cincinnati…Coached at Seymour, Ohio Military Institute and Muncie Burris…Football and wrestling standout at Indiana University after spending 7 yrs working to finance college education…coached basketball, football and track at Seymour, then at Ohio Military Institute…moved to new Muncie Burris in 1929 to establish basketball program…developed a team that dominated East Central Indiana…6 straight sectional titles…1939-44 Final Four in ’38…lost ’42 state title game…won over 85 percent of games while at Burris.
