Set South Bend’s city scoring record with 648 points (25.9 ppg) his senior season (1971-72) at St. Joe’s, when the 3rd ranked Indians won 22 games, & the South Bend sectional championship…Wore #2 jersey on 1972 Indiana All-Star team…Four-year player at IU, was a senior starter & averaged 10.0 ppg on 1976 undefeated nat’l championship squad, named to the 1976 NCAA all-tournament team…43rd pick of the 1976 NBA Draft to the LA Lakers, played five seasons in NBA with the Lakers, Golden State Warrior & Indiana Pacers…played in Italy for two seasons…founded Indiana Basketball Academy in 1996 where thousands of central Indiana youth learn basketball skills, and the importance of character development…a member of the 1997 Silver Anniversary Team.
