Played for Hall of Famer Bill Stearman … team was 27-1 in 1964 … played freshman basketball at IU for Hall of Famer Tom Bolyard … 25 year-head  coach with a record of 415-168 … last 17 years of coaching were at Bloomington North where his teams won nine sectionals, two regionals, two semi-states, and a state championship in 1997 – the last open class state tournament … 2000 state runner-up in Class 4A, was undefeated until losing to Marion in the 4A championship game … Hall of Fame Classic Championship in 2001 … coached two Mr. Basketballs, Sean May and Jared Jeffries, seven Indiana All-Stars including three Duany brothers, one Trester Award winner Jared Jeffries … retired from coaching and teaching in 2004.
