East Chicago Washington team was 29-0 during senior year and won the state championship, scoring over 100 points in 8 games and ranked #1 all season . . . as a senior averaged 16 points and 17 rebounds per game . . . selected an Indiana All-Star . . . went on to play for Denny Crum at the University of Louisville, in 1976 was declared an All-American and his #10 jersey has been retired by the school . . . played for the Milwaukee Bucks, where his basketball jersey was also retired . . . following a 12-year career in the NBA started a successful career in restaurant management, as the owner of over 150 restaurants.
