Set the Broad Ripple H.S. records with 750 career points and 429 single-season points… was the leading scorer in Indianapolis as a senior, earned 1^st team all-city and was 1954 Indiana All-Star…  set the Butler University record for freshman varsity scoring (254 points) and totaled 999 career points… noted for scoring 19 points in Butler’s 1958 N.I.T. win over St. John’s in Madison Square Garden and 19 points in a win over Indiana in the 1957 Hoosier Classic…  was named to Butler’s five-man 1950’s all-decade team and to the Butler Athletics Hall of Fame…  he was a member of two National Senior Championship & AAU National Senior Championship teams (1991 & 1996).
