Basketball is king in Indiana and in 1966 Michigan City was the potentate of the Hoosier state. The team’s extraordinary journey started with an unlikely coach who took a job nobody wanted. The players didn’t care who scored, they wanted to win. Together, they went from the Lake Michigan shoreline to the state championship in Indianapolis.
