Anita Folk George

Played on two undefeated state championship teams at Warsaw H.S….a member of the first IHSAA girls’ state champion team, 1976 Warsaw (22-0), & was a leader of the 1978 Tigers (22-0) her senior season…scored 49 points in 1978 state finals games, including 28 in championship game… was named MVP of the state tournament & wore #3 jersey for 1978 Indiana All-Star team…named Northern Lakes all-conference in 1977 & ’78…Warsaw held a three-year record of 64-3 during her career…a member of the Purdue Univ. basketball program from 1978-1979, transferred to Florida State Univ. in 1980…became involved in water skiing, setting state, regional & national records & is three-time Nat’l Women’s Water Ski Slalom Champion…has coached basketball in Florida & at her induction was coaching at Pinellas County Job Corps.
