Gifts of the Game Scholarship Fund

The Gifts of the Game Scholarship was publicly announced in September 2018.

Initially funded by the second largest private donation in Hall of Fame history and added by a sizeable contribution from the Hall of Fame organization, these funds are earmarked to grant four (4) four-year renewable college scholarships each year.

Eligible recipients are Indiana high school seniors who have participated in Indiana high school basketball as a player, manager, trainer, statistician or other ways who are pursuing a post-secondary education. Recipients are determined by an internal Hall of Fame process. Applications are not available.

Each recipient has received a scholarship valued at $1,000 per year for up to four years of college education.

The scholarship fund is open to further contributions to increase the amount and number of scholarships given.
