A field trip to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame is a great opportunity to have fun and educate!

In addition to the lessons of Indiana basketball history gained through those individuals and memorabilia in our displays, students will learn Indiana geography, math, science, sociology and Indiana history.  From researching the legends, inductees and memorabilia from your school, to the messages, lessons and values that can be learned from participation in sports, a visit offers a multi-disciplinary educational experience.

A visit is also an interactive experience.  Students can attempt the game winning shot, try to block the shot of Oscar Robertson or Stephanie White, record their own broadcast version of a thrilling last-second buzzer beater, test their knowledge of Indiana basketball on our touch screen trivia game, or research the history of the schools, state champions, gyms, Silver Anniversary Team members, and inductees on our touch screen kiosks.

Group rates are offered as low as $1 per student and if scheduled in advance, we can provide a tour guide.

The recommended school tour group size is 30-100 students, but we can work with groups of other sizes to accomodate them as best as possible.  Bus parking is available in front of the museum, the building is handicap accessible, and there are a number of dining options nearby.

Consider bringing your class, team, or school group to the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame.
