Bill Robertson

For over 40 years his byline was a fixture of the Evansville Courier and the Evansville Press … a literal man-in-motion, covering as many as 6 tournament games in 3 cities in one day … as many as 90 games a season … covered state finals more than 30 times … NCAA Division II championships for 20 straight years … received IHSAA certificate of merit in ’66 ‘for unselfish and dedicated contributions to the total sports program in Indiana … named Indiana sportswriter of the year in ’78 by the Indiana Football Coaches Association … received Sigma Delta Chi award for journalistic excellence in 1981.
