Coached at Whitewater Twp., Harrisburg, Milroy, Spiceland and New Castle…4-yr letter winner in high school…all-sectional as junior and senior…played 4 years at Hanover College…18-yr coaching career at high school level at Whitewater Twp. Harrisburg, Milroy, Spiceland and New Castle…at New Castle won 20 or more games in single season 4 times… went to State Finals twice…won 5 sectionals in 9 years…coached a Trester Award winner (Jerry Lamberson 1971) and Mr. Basketball (Kent Benson, 1973)…was named NCC Coach of Year 3 times…overall coaching record of 260 wins.
