Enjoyed a stellar basketball career in high school, capped by being named to the Indiana All-Star team, All-Indianapolis City team and All-Metro team in 1977 … led her team in virtually every statistical category, averaging 16 points and 16 rebounds, while hitting 44% of her field goal attempts … lettered two years at Vincennes University before going to Western Kentucky University, lettering in basketball for two years and earning a BS Degree … a teacher and coach in the Indianapolis Public School Corporation … as a reserve  coach at Aresenal Tech, won three reserve city championships from 1986-1995 … 2002 Silver Anniversary Team.
