A 4-year starter at Vevay High School, graduating in 1937 … 3-year letter winner at Indiana University … top backcourt substitute for ’40 national championship team …a starter & team leader as a senior in 1941 … began a long & distinguished coaching career at Aurora, where his ’43 team made it to Sweet 16 … 8 years at Rushville where he won 60% of his games with 5 sectionals & 2 regionals … served on the IHSAA Board & was Rushville’s athletic director for 25 years.
