Ken Gunning
3 year letter winner for Shelbyville High School in basketball, baseball and track, before graduating in 1933…earned the Paul Cross Award (MVP) his senior season…played at Indiana University where he led his team in scoring his freshman, sophomore, and junior seasons along with being a senior captain and 2nd Team All-American…at IU, he lettered in both baseball and track… played for the Whiting Ciesar All-Americans, Moline Plow Boys, and the Indianapolis Kautskys before coaching at Western New Mexico and Wichita State….also coached at Connersville High School, leading them to a Regional title in 1956.
