Pioneering girls basketball state championship coach… 1947 graduate of Evansville Central H.S. and 1951 graduate of Evansville College… led Evansville Reitz to sectional championship in first year of IHSAA girls basketball, then coached 1980-81 team to 26-1 record and state championship victory… 1981 Indiana All-Stars coach… teams won 100 games in eight seasons, over 72% winning percentage… accomplished tennis player, who won multiple city, state, national and world championship titles.
