From a Fulton Co. school of 63 students long since swallowed up in consolidation, assures the Panthers a permanent basketball niche because he scored points like no one else in Indiana’s high school history…averaged 42.2 points as a senior…more than 40 years later still the state record…one-game high was 60, in an 82-70 victory over Medaryville, he had 53 against Macy…at Purdue, Wills lettered 3 yrs. with a single-game high of 20 points…served 6 yrs. in the Army, earning 2 Bronze Stars & a Purple Heart for Vietnam duty and a Presidential Citation.
