Milan High Starting guard on Milan’s legendary 1954 state championship team . . . team’s leading scorer in title game against Muncie Central . . . also played on team’s ’53 state finalist squad . . . named to Indiana All-Star team . . . All-State . . . all-semistate as senior and twice on all-regional team . . . played 4 years for Tony Hinkle at Butler . . . coached H. S. basketball for 10 seasons including stints at Milan and Clinton Central . . . served as principal at Clinton Central and Shelbyville, later served as assistant commissioner of the IHSAA.
