All-City and All-Area selection…played for Hall of Fame coach Louis ‘Bo’ Mallard…was a member of the 1959 Tennessee State NAIA championship team…coached 21 years at his alma mater, retiring in 1997…compiled a record of 345-116 for a 75 percent winning average…Won 9 sectionals, 3 semi-states and the 1991 State Championship…coached Nation’s Player of the Year in 1991, Glenn Robinson, who was Collegiate Player of the Year in ’94 and top pick in 1994 NBA Draft.
