Leading scorer & state tournament MVP for 1981 state champions from Evansville Reitz…scored 52 points in the Panthers’ wins over Marion & one-loss Rushville in 1981 state finals, hitting 15-of-21 field goals for 31 points in 74-47 state championship victory…averaged over 18 points per game senior season, leading to selection as all-city, all-SIAC, all-state & the 1981 Indiana All-Star squad…became a record-setter at the Univ.of Evansville where she set career marks in points (1,713), field goals made (718), assists (448), free throws made (277), free throw percentage (.743), & steals (164)…remains Aces’ all-time leader in points & field goals made…led the nation in free throw percentage (90%) in 1983-84…received an NCAA post graduate scholarship in 1985…the first womens basketball player inducted into the Univ. of Evansville Athletic Hall of Fame.
