The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Directors announces
the 2024 Women’s Center Circle Officials Award Winners to be honored Saturday, April 27, 2024.

NEW CASTLE – The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame recognizes two individuals for their contribution as high school basketball officials as the 2024 Women’s Center Circle Officials Award winners.

Jimmy Arnett and Kevin G. Brown will be recognized for their officiating careers.

Jimmy Arnett has worked 24 girls sectionals, 18 regionals, six semi-states and three state finals (2013, 2016 and 2021).  A member of the St. Joe Valley Athletic Officials Association, he was President in 2020, five years as basketball chair, basketball assigning secretary for four years and a member of their board for nine years.  He has been a mentor and has been lead official and officials’ coordinator for Andrews University Cardinal Classic for 12 years.  He attended the Indiana Academy, graduating in 1974.  He has been employed as a national sales manager with Workwear Outfitters for over 23 years.

Kevin G. Brown has been a member of the Indiana and Fall creek officials’ associations.  Kevin has worked 3 total HOF classics (2 boys and 1 girls).  Brown has officiated over 23 sectionals, 16 regionals, 5 semi-states and 3 state finals.  Kevin has been an IOA Board Member and IOA Basketball training coordinator, and worked over 30 years as an official for baseball, basketball and football, while being a mentor for multiple officials in all three sports.  In addition to his duties as an IHSAA official, Kevin has served as an NFL replay official.

All Center Circle Officials Award winners will be honored at the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame’s 22^nd Women’s Awards Banquet on Saturday, April 27, 2024.

A midday reception, free and open to the public, will be held at the Hall of Fame Museum in New Castle.  The evening banquet will take place at the Primo Banquet Hall, which is located on the south side of Indianapolis.
