Sixty-three years ago, residents of the “twin cities” of French Lick and West Baden Springs, known as the “Valley,” woke up to the beginning of an unforgettable basketball season. The 1957-58 season was extraordinary in that it revived the spirit of the two towns. The impact of that once-in-a-lifetime experience has been memorable and lasting.
