2nd annual HOF / DistinXion team camp set
(New Castle) – Registrations are now available for the Hall of Fame / DistinXion boys high school varsity team camp, to be held in New Castle June 28-29.
The Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame and DistinXion will once again partner to host a boys high school team camp at locations including the New Castle Fieldhouse.
DistinXion is a non-profit organization formed by the Zeller family of Washington, Indiana – the only family to produce three Indianapolis Star Indiana Mr. Basketball award winners. The DistinXion mission is to provide positive role models and a positive learning environment for youth to learn life values and character through basketball.
The theme of the event is -Teaching and Demonstrating Fundamentals that Transcend Time.-
Over the course of two days, the event will include in a team training session, a team tour of the Indiana Basketball Hall of Fame museum, a guest speaker, character development session, and also include three games in pool play (at least one game guaranteed in 9,314 seat New Castle Fieldhouse) and conclude with a single-elimination situational tournament in the Fieldhouse.
